Fresh pasta sauce

Pasta sauce consitency

Hi everyone.
As I mentioned a week ago that soon I will publish the recipe of fresh pasta sauce.

How to prepare “Fresh pasta sauce” ?

Preparation time: 10-15 minutes

Cooking time: 60-90 minutes
Serves: 6

Ingredients for pasta sauce

1. 2 kg fresh tomatoes
2. 1 chopped red/white onion
3. 6-8 cloves of garlic
4. 3 table spoons of salt (Don’t be too generous)
5. Cold pressed olive oil (It is least processed)
6. One table-spoon of sugar
7. One red capsicum (slice and dice)
8. One fresh chopped carrot
9. One table-spoon of red chilli powder (I prefer hot chilli powder)
10. Half tea-spoon of black pepper
11. Half diced green chilli
12. Couple dry red chilli
13. Half tea-spoon of oregano
14. 4-6 fresh basil leaves

Equipment

1. Pan
2. Heating container
3. Food processor of blender for tomato puree.

Soya Chaap Salsa

I made this Indian snack at home the other day. “Soya” is a rich source of protein amongst vegan and vegetarians.

All one needs to do is either stir fry or steam these soya sticks, then cook them for 20 minutes in a thick red pasta sauce. I prefer it garlicky and spicy, hence it suits my taste. Keeping the ingredients fresh is the best way to go, so make the pasta sauce from scratch. This is a very healthy dish if you are coming straight back from a work out, as its rich in protein and you need protein to repair and maintain your muscles.
