Soya Chaap Salsa

Salsa Chaap (2) Salsa Chaap (1)

I made this Indian snack at home the other day. “Soya” is a rich source of protein amongst vegan and vegetarians.

All one needs to do is either stir fry or steam these soya sticks, then cook them for 20 minutes in a thick red pasta sauce. I prefer it garlicky and spicy, hence it suits my taste. Keeping the ingredients fresh is the best way to go, so make the pasta sauce from scratch. This is a very healthy dish if you are coming straight back from a work out, as its rich in protein and you need protein to repair and maintain your muscles.

Fresh Pasta

Fresh Pasta

This is one of my favorite delights.

Looking for impressing your date and enjoy with a movie during a late Saturday night, a fresh plate of pasta is a way to go. 🙂
Also just for your information –  a freshly made tomato pasta sauce is rich in anti-oxidants and also helps in weight loss. Carbohydrates provide you with rich source of energy for a long time after consumption. Hence you are full most of the day as well as feel delighted by the freshness of the meal.

How to make it ? – Wait for my next post.

Chapati

Made fresh Indian bread- Chapati, for breakfast. A much better alternative than white bread. This bread is made from wheat flour. Hence this bread is rich in complex carbohydrates and fiber. A great way to enjoy fresh breakfast and stay full for a longer period of day 🙂
